Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend - or a meaningful day. -Dalai Lama

Baby's Second Christmas
Olivia's great grandparents got her a way cool gift but it was on back order so we got it a few days after Christmas.
But it was well worth the wait! A Teddy Ruxpin! (I think Josh and I were more excited than Olivia.) Hello 1985!
But then we got him out of his box and she really lit up. And he wasn't even talking yet. She gave him hugs and kisses (slobbers).
But then she found her black shiny shoes to be more exciting. So she chewed on those for awhile, while Teddy supervised.
Man, I had one of those when I was a kid and they scared me. It was those red eyes. They're the kind of eyes that if you woke up in the middle of the night, you'd see them glowing menacingly in the night. But it looks like Olivia's enjoying it. Tough kid and all. I mean afterall, she's had to deal with Josh and Amy, so what's this crazed toy compared to her parents?
We our so blessed to have such a wonderful family with a daughter who brings us so much joy and laughter every single day. We know we're not the greatest at keeping in touch, or even keeping up with our blog, but we hope you all enjoy and thank you for being a part of our lives.
Graduated from Oregon State University June 2009. Currently, attending Linfield College pursuing a certificate in Accounting.
Amy
Works as a caregiver and legal assistant, but most importantly and rewarding of all, a mother. And hopefully soon, that will be her full time job.
Olivia Rose
Turned 1 year old on July 10th. She loves to climb on everything, read books, Curious George, both her kitties and making us laugh. She is becoming such a little lady, and has such a wise and strong spirit and so full of life and love.
