Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend - or a meaningful day. -Dalai Lama
Playing in her crib. She poses for the camera now. She can almost pull herself up, but just can't seem to get those legs and arms to cooperate. Crawling is almost upon us too. Which is exciting and scary all at the same time. It's nice not to worry about her hurting herself, but it will be fun to see her moving about. Right now she gets places by rolling over and over again, or scooting on her tummy like a soldier.
Livy's new friend, Addison. I've been Addison's nanny since she was two (she's almost 5 now). She saw me all throughout the pregnancy and could not wait for Olivia to come. She just adores her, and Olivia loves playing with her too.
Well, she is finally sitting up all by herself! We keep a pillow close by, just in case though. She likes to take all her toys out of the toy box and "taste" each one of them.
We our so blessed to have such a wonderful family with a daughter who brings us so much joy and laughter every single day. We know we're not the greatest at keeping in touch, or even keeping up with our blog, but we hope you all enjoy and thank you for being a part of our lives.
Graduated from Oregon State University June 2009. Currently, attending Linfield College pursuing a certificate in Accounting.

Works as a caregiver and legal assistant, but most importantly and rewarding of all, a mother. And hopefully soon, that will be her full time job.

Turned 1 year old on July 10th. She loves to climb on everything, read books, Curious George, both her kitties and making us laugh. She is becoming such a little lady, and has such a wise and strong spirit and so full of life and love.
